Republic International Bank, N.V., roots reach as far back as the early 90´s, when the bank began its operations under the Banco Caracas, N.V. name; in 1999 the Bank was acquired by Santander Investment Trust a member of Santander Group the 8th largest financial institution in the world with a Market Capitalization of US$ 116 billion, whom in 2006 sold it to the Netherlands Assets Corp. Group that today is leading our financial institution.The Bank officially took the name "Republic International Bank, N.V." in 2007 as a result of the new ownership and the new five year business plan approved for 2015-2020.
